Some frequently asked questions we get from prospective customers
Q1: What does the GRC ONE™ application cost ?
It is an annual subscription. £600 per Trust and, if a school is to have access, £100 for each relevant school, billed annually in advance. No additional hidden costs, unlimited users and no additional infrastructure required.
Q2: How many users will I need ?
You will need a minimum of 1 user on the system, however to get the most GRC ONE, you should have a user for every person who is responsible for managing or mitigating a risk within your academy trust, at no additional cost.
Q3: What does it do ?
It facilitates the allocation of risks, controls, documents, actions and incidents to multiple users, each with their own login to the system. This allows the workflow within the system to come alive, enabling the real distribution of responsibilities and allowing anyone in the academy to run a risk assessment.
Data can be scrutinised to discover key information and current weaknesses, then reports can be run in real time without having to wait for someone to provide them for you.
Q4: I have little risk management experience, is it easy to use ?
The system has been built for users with all levels of ability. In addition we have a support line should you require it.
Q5: Will our data be safe ?
Absolutely. GRC ONE™ is hosted on Microsoft’s Azure cloud network, one of the most secure and modern hosting environments available at this present time. Our software engineers follow industry best practice during the development process, and we regularly complete security testing to check our systems remain safe and secure.
Q6: Is the example data guaranteed 100% complete and accurate ?
No. As every school is different, it is impossible for us to create a 100% accurate set of data for you. However, the vast majority of the Risk data will be the same for all schools, and this is the basis under which the data is provided. We aim to provide a minimum of 90% of the risk data you need to start managing your school risks using our system, however you have the ability to incorporate your own data into GRC ONE.
Q7: Can we add our own Risks ?
Yes, there may be a bespoke risks that exist within your academy so it should be entered onto your risk register.
Q8: Why can’t I just copy the example data and not use the system ?
One of the key benefits of GRC ONE™ is that you can effectively manage your risk by allocating to other members of staff, and through both action logging and incident management. The data is constantly evolving, as new risks and controls are identified. By taking a copy of the data, not only will you be breaching copyright, but you will lose the advantages that being a member will bring, including any future cost saving opportunities.
Q9: Can you provide help to implement our Risk Environment ?
Yes, GRC ONE has a team of risk specialists, who are conversant with our software and with the needs of the education sector. A typical implementation will take no more than 3 working days, and can be completed in as little as a single day. The FD Forum has negotiated a significant reduction on implementation standard rates.
Q10: How will I receive updates to the system ?
Updates to the GRC ONE™ system will happen automatically. Our systems can be enhanced at any time, however under normal circumstances, all updates will be made overnight. Data updates will be emailed to all subscribers.
